31 pics, Paris people and places. Strolling the streets between République and the Seine, through the “Pletzl” Jewish Quarter. A visit to the Palais Garnier (Paris Opéra), and the Paris Louvre to see the Mona Lisa, and all the other treasures. Our Paris Museum Pass really worked and we were straight in to the Louvre with no long queuing.

The Maubert-Mutualité Market established in 1547, the oldest market in Paris. With Jenny & Keith from London at the Au Coin de Malte family restaurant in Oberkampf, a short walk from our hotel, great fun and recommended great value, celebrating Keith’s birthday. A landscape art installation at the Paris Hôtel de Ville (city hall) – the square full of hillocks designed to look like a sphere when viewed from a viewing platform at exactly the right angle and height. With Jean from Canberra at the Paris Island of the City and walking along the Seine and then back to République.
