14 pics. The Pont du Gard an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge that is part of a 50 km long aqueduct, constructed by the Romans in the 1st century AD. Ancient olive trees. The 42m high slender cylindrical belfry knows as the Tour Fenestrelle in Uzès, built in the twelfth century. The Duchy residence of the Duke & Duchess of Uzès, a castle that has been in the family for 1000 years. And finally the Captain’s Farewell Dinner, back on the River Royale at Avignon.
